Discovery Foundation reappoints Dr. David G. Harper as CEO and President

The Board of Directors of Discovery Foundation is pleased to announce the reappointment of Dr. David G. Harper as CEO and President of Discovery Foundation.

“Dr. Harper has worked relentlessly on behalf of Discovery Foundation in fostering a bridge between innovation and technology while also promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion across our Technology Education Programs. We are delighted to be able to continue our work with David in achieving the above goals.” says Mr. Tom English, Chair of the Board.

A registered charity, the Discovery Foundation’s mandate is to promote and facilitate innovation and the development of the technology sector in British Columbia.

Its principal role is the delivery of the Technology Education Program (TEP) through selected Agents who educate technology entrepreneurs and students considering careers in technology in British Columbia.  Each year, industry organizations and educational institutions apply to be TEP Agents through a competitive process.  This process ensures the delivery of the highest quality programs. Discovery Foundation is dedicated to promoting and facilitating innovation and development of the technology sector in British Columbia while focusing on programs that encourage and support equity, diversity, and inclusion across the science and technology landscape.
