Dr. Patrick McGeer, the founder of Discovery Foundation, passes away at 95.

On behalf of the Board of the Discovery Foundation, we are saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Pat McGeer. As the BC Science and Technology Minister he was the driving force behind the creation of the Discovery Foundation in 1979. Dr. McGeer was a great scientist, athlete, and politician who worked tirelessly and contributed greatly to the prosperity of BC and its people throughout his life. We continue to help realize his vision to advance the science and technology sector in BC.
