Exciting changes at Discovery Foundation - introducing our new Chair Kathy O'Donoghue

"I know how trite it is to relate how thrilled we are when making announcements, but as the CEO of The Discovery Foundation I am really, truly thrilled to let you know about the recent changes to our Board of Directors. Kathy O'Donoghue has taken on the role as our Chair and Jessica Verhagen has join the team as our newest Director.

After more than a decade as Chair, Tom English has stepped down, and will (thankfully!) be continuing on as a Director with the Board. Tom’s long history with the The Discovery Foundation, since its inception in 1979, and his immeasurable wisdom, keen intellect, and positive outlook have helped shape the Foundation into the high impact tech enabler in BC we have become.

Kathy O'Donoghue brings decades of experience in the tech sector as a leader and innovator and is passionate about health and wellness. Jessica Verhagen lends her decades of experience in finance and business and now serves as the CEO of one of Canada’s foremost greentech companies, Hydra Energy. As we refocus our programming on the health and greentech sectors, it is wonderful to have two such accomplished industry leaders providing sage advice and guidance."
