Discovery Foundation’s Financing the Venture Program presented by Angel Forum
Why take this program?
New ventures and startups generally require capital to grow or scale up, although many of these companies will struggle to find the capital they require. Angel Forum developed this program with the single aim to increase the chances of success for companies to find the capital they require to grow or scale up.
Discovery Foundation’s Financing the Venture Program takes a look at various sources of funding that are available: government grants, debt and equity financing.
It covers how to present a case for investors to invest in a company, how founders best prepare themselves, the typical terms investors are looking for and how to best manage investor relations post-investment to grow your venture into a success.
